2026 SAND PROGRAM INFORMATION

GIRLS SAND PROGRAM (Update coming soon!)

We believe that playing in the sand is an essential part of player development. Even if you don't want to play competitive beach doubles, training in the sand will help you achieve your full potential as an indoor player. Beach doubles have also become more popular at the youth and collegiate level. With this in mind, BAVC recently announced our intention to launch a year-round sand program.
COMPETITIVE SAND DOUBLES
Competitive Beach Doubles Team:
BAVC is also looking to form a year-round Beach Doubles Team. Details and registration are provided below.
Program Goal:
To train doubles teams to compete and metal in Northern California, SoCal, and over time in national tournaments. When possible, we will identify tournaments where BAVC teams all compete at the same tournament. Our initial goal is to form 10 doubles teams who want to commit to regular training.
Practice:
BAVC's group will practice once or twice per week. The days and times will be determined once we know how many doubles teams we have. .
Team Doubles Fees:
Doubles Team Pricing will be determined based on the number of practices and tournaments. We want program pricing to be flexible and to fit in with the number of team practices and tournaments. We have identified several potential Northern California tournaments between now and year-end.

Players interested in being considered for BAVC's beach doubles team, please send email to richardffeldmann@hotmail.com with the following:
  • Player name,
  • Player date of birth,
  • Player experience (club, high school, sand),
  • Player position,
  • Player height
  • Parent email,
  • Player email
We are seeking experienced indoor (or sand) players who have all-around skills and are interested in competing at a high level.
Singles vs Doubles:
You will need a partner to participate in the beach doubles program. BAVC will work with you to try to find a candidate partners for singles from our practice groups or from other singles who have registered. Once teams get formed, we will create a TeamSnap for practice scheduling, tournaments, and team communications.

2026 boys winter/spring sand program (Updated 1/15/26)

Description: 
BAVC's boys spring sand doubles program includes 7 dates between February 1st to May 10th. Participation is open to intermediate and advanced level players. Practices will consist of a combination of sand conditioning, skills development, sand doubles strategy, and competitive play.  We will also use this program to identify/evaluate players who are interested in being part of BAVC's year-round competitive sand doubles program. Accordingly, players interested in being on the team are encouraged to participate in the spring training.
Practice Days/Times
All practices are scheduled for Sunday to avoid potential conflicts with boys indoor high school tournament dates.

Program Pricing:
Option 1: $300 for all 6 practices ($50 per session)
Option 2: $240 for 4 practices ($60 per session)
No refunds for missed sessions
Spring Tournaments
Northern California Tournaments Begin in May, Following link lists Mavericks and CBVA tournament schedule.
BAVC will schedule/host a tournament in Mid-May.
